Mekong Institute (MI) is going to organize an online dissemination workshop

22 Dec, 2023

With support from the Mekong-Republic of Korea Cooperation Fund (MKCF), Mekong Institute (MI) is going to organize an online workshop to disseminate the results of the end-of-project evaluation for 'Sustainable and Smart Tourism Development in the Mekong Region' on December 22, 2023, from 09:00 am to 10:30 am (Bangkok Time).

The project, which was implemented from 2020 to 2023, supported Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam to enhance hospitality quality, promote collaboration between the Republic of Korea and Mekong countries through town twinning, and boost tourism competitiveness. Achieving these goals involved developing and providing smart tourism tools, techniques, and technologies through learning exchanges and information-sharing. The project supported small businesses and enhanced cultural connections between cities in the Republic of Korea and the Mekong region.
