MI is pleased to announce the call for application
for the second Training cum Workshop on “Regional Project Monitoring and
Evaluation (M&E)” scheduled on April 22-26, 2024 at Mekong Institute,
Khon Kaen, Thailand. This training is a part of the regional project on
“Capacity Building on Regional Project Design, Implementation, Monitoring &
Evaluation of MKCF projects (PRIME)” a three-year project funded by
Mekong-Republic of Korea Cooperation Fund (MKCF).
The objective of the Training cum Workshop
on Regional Project M&E is to develop participants’ capacity to
monitor and evaluate regional projects that address issues of the seven
priority sectors of the MKCF in the Mekong region. The training cum workshop
will be also utilized to contribute to the ongoing development of the Results
Based M&E Framework for MKCF program under the overall framework of Mekong
RoK cooperation. To attain the above-mentioned intended objectives, the training cum workshop
seeks to provide participants with a thorough comprehension of the MKCF's
M&E framework and the crucial elements of the M&E system designed for
regional projects.
A total of 30 candidates from the MKCF Project
Implementing agencies (PIA) will be selected for the training. The ideal
candidate should be the Project Head or person responsible for project
M&E. The selected candidate will receive full
scholarships covering flight or land travel cost, airport transfer in Khon
Kaen, travel insurance, accommodation, meals (breakfast, lunch, and two coffee
breaks), and per diem. The training flyer is attached for your reference.
Interested MKCF PIAs should submit the
online application form by April 4, 2024. Only one application will be
considered per PIA.
